Tofacilitate personnel exchanges between the Chinese mainland and HongKong and Macao SARs and improve the efficiency of exit-entryprocesses, the Exit and Entry Administration, P.R.C. has decided toupgrade part of border inspection fast channels in Shenzhen Bay Portin Shenzhen and Gongbei Port in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, on atrial basis. Specifically, individuals traveling frequently to andfrom Hong Kong and Macao for private purposes can take the"document-free" channels.

为了便利内地与香港、澳门特别行政区的人员往来，提高出入境效率，中华人民共和国出入境管理局决定在广东省深圳市深圳湾口岸和珠海市拱北口岸的部分边检快捷通道进行升级试行。具体来说，经常往返香港、澳门的私人旅行者可以使用“无纸化”通道。

FromNovember 20, 2024, the Chinese mainland residents aged 14 or olderwith valid Exit-Entry Permits for Traveling to and from Hong Kong andMacao, and multiple valid stay, family reunion, business, talent orother type of endorsements for traveling to Hong Kong or Macao, andthe residents of Hong Kong and Macao SARs (including non-Chinesecitizens) with valid Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and MacaoResidents, provided that they agree to allow the border inspectionauthorities in charge to collect their facial data, fingerprints andother necessary information for inspection, can take the"document-free" channels at border inspection areas toenter and exit the Chinese mainland without presenting physicalexit-entry documents. Individuals choosing to pass through otherinspection channels will still need to present their valid exit-entrydocuments for border inspection when entering or exiting the Chinesemainland. Chinese mainland residents holding exit-entry documents forpublic affairs will temporarily not be eligible to take the"document-free" channels and shall take other channels asusual.

自2024年11月20日起，年满14周岁的中国内地居民，持有有效的港澳通行证以及多次有效停留、家庭团聚、商务、人才或其他类型的赴港澳签注，以及香港、澳门特别行政区居民（包括非中国公民）持有有效的港澳居民来往内地通行证，只要他们同意允许主管边检机关收集其面部数据、指纹及其他必要的检查信息，就可以通过边检区域的“无纸化”通道进出中国内地，无需出示实体出入境证件。选择通过其他检查通道的个人在进出中国内地时仍需出示有效的出入境证件以供边检。持有公务出入境证件的中国内地居民暂时无法使用“无纸化”通道，应照常通过其他通道。

Giventhat the residents of the Chinese mainland are still required to holdexit-entry documents for inspection purposes when entering Hong Kongand Macao, while the residents of Hong Kong and Macao are required togo through procedures for stay, residence, transportation and otherissues with their exit-entry documents after entering the Chinesemainland, it is mandated that all individuals shall hold their validexit-entry documents when traveling between the Chinese mainland andHong Kong and Macao SARs.

鉴于中国内地居民在进入香港、澳门时仍需持有出入境证件以供检查，而香港、澳门居民在进入中国内地后需要用出入境证件办理停留、居留、交通等事宜，因此规定所有人在内地与香港、澳门特别行政区之间旅行时必须持有有效的出入境证件。
